Pants are more practical for gardening, horseback riding, lawn care etc.
They only exception is if you are of Scottish decent
Garden. Outside work. Camping. Hiking. Hunting. Fishing. And the fact that women should be allowed what's comfortable without dressing like a $2 prostitute and there's absolutely nothing wrong with pants and this post is full restarted because you clearly are single and gonna stay that way if you think you can control EVERYTHING about your woman down to "hurr durr woman wear jeans bad hurr durr."
Ancient Roman men wore tunics. In fact, wearing pants or boots was against the law.
A law from 397 and then another in 399 CE strictly regulated the wearing of pants and boots in the city of Rome:
Within the city of Rome, no one shall wear pants or boots. But if any man after the issuance of this regulation of Our Clemency should obstinately persist in such contumacy, he shall be punished accordingly as his legal status permits and expelled from our sacred city (Codex Theodosianus, 14.10.3 [June 6, 399 CE])
I agree. I hate the way pants feel. I have always worn dresses unless inappropriate.
Yep
I gotta bike to the store sometimes for food (car is broken at the moment).
I would be uncomfortable doing that in a dress or skirt.
It doesn't matter what they wear when they're in the kitchen cooking my dinner.
Loose fitting open ended garments are best for airing out personal bits that otherwise accumulate distasteful aromas.
Modern sanitation methods not withstanding, your mind is right.
Men should wear dresses and skirts and assert their dominance.
Why do you clothe your woman folk? Sounds wasteful.
