It was pretty awesome. I wonder what he was going after. A few years back I had 2 hunting trips to E WA in the same year, one trip for deer and one trip for elk. On the deer hunting trip I was leaning up against a stump and the biggest elk I've ever seen came crashing through the woods and stopped about 30 yards away from me broadside for about 5 minutes, bugling his fool head off. On the elk trip I was in the very corner of a field tucked up on a good size pine tree and a deer came out of the opposite corner and walked all the way across the field and right past me about 5 feet away. He just stood there in front of me looking into the woods. I couldn't believe it.
