Meh, I'm not against gash bait but think it behooves a hunter to simply track w/ a bow starting out if they can. Junkyards are full of cars that prove there is no shortage of deer. I'm not gonna pretend I haven't gotten drunk in a tree stand with friends and shot a future bit of chili.
