Are you gorwing determinante or indeterminante tomatoes? We grow indeterminant, and use the single stem method. We don't allow them to bush out. Instead we choose one main stem and allow that to grow up along a pole or trellis. When you stop the plan from focusing energy on bushing out, they will put out way more flowers and fruit.
