Nice stove. My wife and I had a wood stove installed three years ago. We're going on to our fourth winter using it. There is no better feeling of comfort than coming in from a frosty Winter day to a wood stove cranking out the BTUs. Don't use anything other than really well seasoned wood. We buy split wood that is seasoned, stack it and still let it sit about a year before using it.

If you have a wooded lot and/or will process your own trees, or want to further split up some pieces that are too big, look up kenetic log splitters. I have a little electric kenetic log splitter and can make 2 trash cans full of kindling pieces in about 15 minutes. Also has the power to bust up tree trunk rounds into pieces. If you want to make kindling manually, I can also suggest https://www.kindlingcracker.com/ Way better than an axe, especially if you're not used to swinging an axe or want to have the kids help out making kindling

I process my own firewood from our lot of pine. I end up with a ton of bark and pine cones so need not worry about kindling.

It's a great feeling even if firewood has low money value because it's creation has high physical value

Thanks, I'm already used to using an axe. I'm using store bought kiln dried wood currently while waiting for mine to finish seasoning. I've seen the cast iron kindling splitter and I'm considering getting one of those, I'm trying to stay away from electric or gas powered implements.

I love the dark winters. Fuck sunlight and heat.. or the fat half naked niggers and spics wandering around too. White people thrive in winter weather and it sends all the shitskins into hiding. It's beautiful.

We don't have shitskins in my area yet, been a nigger no go zone after dark for a long time. I plan on keeping it that way.

Use a box fan behind it and you'll use far less wood during the season. You're welcome.

It's got a blower on it which helps quite a bit, I'll probably pickup a couple of those Stirling engine fans to help out.

The blowers I've had aren't super powerful (and I have a pretty large room/house. A few box fans have made my winter electric/gas bills go down by 40% and my wood piles staying high by around 1/2.

Just curious, you wrote this is your 4th ? How long do yours last you ? (I've had 1 at a cabin that's been there for 40 years now.)

The fires usually last about 4ish hours then simmer down to coals, it's kind of chilly in the morning if I don't throw another log on but easily bearable.

Are you familiar with coal stoves? Are they better than wood stoves or is wood better?

Edit, nice setup OP. Better heat than a central system.

You can see soot build up in the lower right corner of glass. https://pic8.co/sh/dopnuK.png

New stove, I think the 4th fire. I clean the glass using water and the ash, takes the grime right off.
