Critical drinker is rarely wrong…

Here's an idea Hollyweird, make movies people want to see. Personally, I don't ever consider even looking to see what's playing, assuming there isn't anything I'd be interested in spending my time watching.

Don't bother making gratuitous 3D or Imax movies either. I won't pay the premium to watch shit in a bigger format.

I saw both Dunes in IMAX, I enjoyed it.

Let's assume your somebody who likes (((mainstream))) content.

Even torn you have a choice between paying around $50 for tickets and snacks for two to go to a movie that you might like on their schedule.

Or you can pick a streaming service fit $10 a month, get a giant at home tv for a one time free hundred dollar purchase, and watch whatever the heck you want within a few months of it having been in theaters on your time schedule with your at home snacks, and if you don't like it 15 min in you switch to something else.

Do even if they ever got to a point where "a lot" of movies were good again, it still wouldn't be worth it.

And not a lot of them are good.

Or just pirate the stuff. You don't even have to torrent, easy to find places to stream it.

Dune 2 was the last movie I saw in a theater. It is very rare I feel something is actually worth paying for the experience.

Drinker isn't completely wrong in his assessment, however the theaters aren't the ones making the films, they're just showing them. I doubt Pedowood would give permission for theaters to show older films that go against The Message.
