He isn't right if it's staged (anyone with half a brain know and can see it is)

I also pointed that out in my earlier posts from today. In fact, I was almost certainlythe first person here to point out that it was staged.

If the Academy and the audience is buying that it is an assault or just selling it to us (like they are), then they should also logically acknowledge that it is an assault to stay true to that narrative.

What makes me believe that it was staged, the most telling piece of evidence I mean, is the way Chris Rock stood with his hands behind his back and leaned his face forward. He was waiting for the slap. I'm sure he did not expect it to be as hard as it was, but he was waiting for it.
