I watched the first ten minutes of episode one, and was very disappointed. It looks cheap. I don't know exactly what it is, but I can take a look at a television series and tell in half a minute or less whether it is a quality production or not. *Vikings* was a quality production. This is not. I think it's the lenses on the cameras they use. This has a soap opera look. And the sound wasn't right. Not enough noise from the extras gathered in the long house.
