Ok, I've seen several incarnations of this meme and I appreciate the sentiment. However, the old American is a Marine. His war and his eyeball to eyeball adversaries were the Japs in the Pacific, half a world away from The European Theater and the Fritz's, Dieter's and Hans's. Just sayin'.
