It's one thing to have your remains eaten and decompose in public after you've been executed.

But think if you lived in a warm weather climate and had to starve to death for 3 or 4 days with no water. Awful way to go.

Still, gibbeting doesn't even come close to the cruelty of Scaphism. Look it up. Seriously awful.

I hope scaphism and other forms of cruel punishments make a triumphant return once the political landscape shifts back in our favour. Considering the amount of evil that the (((elite))) have been getting away with for the past century or so, it's only fitting punishments like this are brought back to be used on the worst offenders. This time, it all must be painstakingly recorded and archived in HD so that future generations will always have a clear reminder of what will happen to those who tried to rule the world through evil.

Wouldn't indians bury up to the neck with scaphism?

I think you died of thirst and hunger from the "burial" death. Not sure if the Indians would come back each day and force feed you, which the Persians did with Scaphism.

Scaphism is horrendous because you would probably eventually die of deep infection and blood poisoning, which would take many days. The Wikipedia link mentions it taking someone 17 days to finally die. Imagine insects crawling inside your skin after they've been laid to hatch, or they've entered through your mucous membranes, including your asshole.

Crucifixion sounds pretty bad. Possibly Persian as well

The Chinese welding their citizens into their apartment buildings to slowly starve to death is the same.
