Socialists are by definition about collectivism, utilities are all almost universally provided by the state alone w/ no competition. It grows from there until your wiping your ass with 'the people's bog roll' and have no choice in ur toilet paper like w/ communism.

socialism and national socialism are two different things though. the state of the nsdap was responsible for overseeing the health of the nation and economy, but there was still private enterprise.
