Yes, I get what you say about personification, but Christ is the WORD. Christ is Truth. Those are true statements. Maybe I'm splitting hairs with the Hitler quote , but to me it just sounds off. I never claimed Hitler wasn't Christian, but was he a practicing Catholic? And I'm not a protestant. I'm a Catholic. Are you a novus ordo?
No i'm protestant, it's funny to hear this from a catholic, most I've known don't approach this the way you do. That said I've met plenty of protestants who don't give any of this real consideration either.
Most catholics I know pull out "metaphor" when we get into this stuff.
I don't know how regularly Hitler attended mass, sorry, I imagine he missed it quite a lot and I don't recall him having anything akin to a personal priest.
We do know of some consternation between his allies and the church, likely something akin to the LARPagans we have today blaming Christianity for the jews and the works of judaizers. I suspect he attended mass frequently at a number of times in his life and respected the role of the church in Western civilization and his greatest attachment to it I bet is it's direct link back to the roman empire he emulated. Considering the warnings of Revelations I have to think twice about his aesthetic choices.
That's because practically all Catholics today hold to the councilliar novus ordo religion of the counterfeit RC Church. It is not Catholic. It is modernism. I'm what some call a traditional Catholic who takes the sedevantist position.
