The US soldier was the most well equipped infantryman on the planet at that time in WWII. Smartest soldiers as well, while not being as tactically smart as the german soldier, an american soldier seeing a german well defended stronghold, instead of assaulting it, they would call in artillery and airstrikes. Eazee peazee! The german soldier hated this. An american soldier sees a puff of smoke in the woods, ARTILLERY Strike, lol!
