We've seen the same evolution in our own movement to this point, after being right about every single thing for 30 years and still being looked at like nuts I think truth matters, truth is the most important thing and you need it BUT truth cannot penetrate a mind hardened against it, a heart hardened against it. Truth has to be asked in, carry truth with you at all times, do not forsake it, but learn psychological siege warfare and use that to break down their gates and set a fire of truth behind their lines and in their walls.
In less aggressive terms think of a mother feeding her toddler, the little one must eat but doesn't want that vegetable paste on a spoon that they need, you cant force feed them, you must deceive them into opening their mouths to take needed nourishment, "open the tunnel for the choo choo".
Hitler lived through the same post truth jewish insanity as we are now, he was jaded by it, understandably so.
To Hitler, Jesus wasn't synonymous with truth, the emphasis on Christ being truth personified is a protestant thing.

Where do you get that belief from? Christ literally says he is the truth in John 14:6. Maybe the German is different from the English translation for that quote. I don't know. I have not seen evidence to support the claim that Hitler placed Christ first as what you and the other guy are claiming.
The issue is personification, explicit personification, some sects hear Christ is The Word and think this means Christ is every Bible, others interpret this as all language and that fowl language sullies Christ and is therefore a chief sin. Yet others take it as Christ is God's word personified, others interpret this as Christ's purpose and not His literal being.
Personification and literalism are the two mainstream positions but this is a place where catholics and protestants diverge in emphasis. The oldest schisms are borne from disagreements in the nature of God and the holy trinity.
Also you can't claim hitler wasn't Christian just because he doesn't meet your protestant standard.
Its a weak no true scotsman argument. Catholicism is "faith and works", protestantism is broadly "faith alone".
Yes, I get what you say about personification, but Christ is the WORD. Christ is Truth. Those are true statements. Maybe I'm splitting hairs with the Hitler quote , but to me it just sounds off. I never claimed Hitler wasn't Christian, but was he a practicing Catholic? And I'm not a protestant. I'm a Catholic. Are you a novus ordo?
