I just read Orwell's book Down and Out in Paris and London a short while ago. I recommend it. There is only one fault of the book -- a chapter where Orwell starts to preach to his readers. That is annoying, but the rest of the book is excellent. It's an account of living on nothing, or next to nothing, first in Paris, and then in England. The need for English tramps to keep moving from one town to another was particularly fascinating. I wondered while reading it whether we could apply the same system to our present vagrant problems.
Bet you’re not too keen on Parisian fine dining after reading it!
food and water or big mac houses. What is more important?
big mac houses would reduce the need for food.
they stay good for months, you just need to heat it up in the microwave.
The book "On the Road" by Jack Kurak,is another inspiring work.
a disturbing movie youll never unsee
although thats not based on aesop or orwell.
First it was 2 weeks to flatten the curve.
Then it was 4 masks good, 1 mask bad
Then it was 2 shots good no shots bad
Now its up to 3 shots good.
And then the animals in the manor farm looked from the pigs, to the humans and realized it was impossible to tell them apart
My memory of this book
3 female teachers fighting my 5th grade male teacher what he was allowed to read to us.
Provided i don't remember the story
And I have a memory like a steel trap
I think they won
