Oh, no, I've learned a lot from other people, but I check to see if it makes any sense. The flat earthers say ships disappear as they sail from port because they're too small to see at distance, but anybody can watch (with a telescope if necessary) how the ship sinks below the curve of the earth. OTOH, the Bible says God told Eve she would die if she ate the apple, but the fairy tale goes on to show she didn't die for quite a few years after eating it. You ought to try using your brain occasionally instead of your ass.
Flat-earthers didnt provide the structural basis for what is left of your civilization. But the Bible and all those that read it and had great deeds and acts of courage did. It is why Protestants with their sola scriptura are able to live barely better lives than atheists, since in the span of a lifetime you can archieve better results with its teachings than denying it.
