before and during WW2, UK and USA citizens were absolutely not pro-communism. their "political leaders" were. and they told the citizens that hitler & the NSDAP wanted to rule the world, and it was the citizens' patriotic duty to prevent it.
the truth is: stalin & the bolsheviks wanted to rule the world. but UK & USA "political leaders" didn't tell the citizens.
