Do you have a source for that quote? As far as I know he only spoke that candidly in his diaries and in his letters to his wife.
I've googled various parts of it and the internet has no record. I'm calling bullshit.
Upon further review, I do not have an exact quote. This gives me pause and I am considering scrapping the post. However, it seems to be paraphrased based on other things Patton said. Still, not an exact quote and I should let everyone know. Thanks.
Just add a " in minecraft" to the end of it.
Who cares. You think waking boomerwaffen requires top shelf propaganda?
He did start speaking out loud about the things he saw because he was so outraged by it. I no longer remember the details. His candid nature was bringing attention to it. Then he was assassinated.
The bulk of what people can authoriatively confirm is within his diaries and letters. However, some quotes outside of this context do exist. Don't know if this is one of them.
Yeh, I recall the first part, but the degenercy part seems fake
It reads like the kind of thing he might say, but it's such a profound statement that I would expect there to be numerous sources and discussions of it. As such I'm more inclined to believe it's fake.
His only known quote about destroying the wrong enemy was from a letter to his wife a few months before his death.
