For the life of me, there is a movie, which speaks to this issue.
How it was not asked for, the people were not consulted, and they felt betrayed by it.
And I try to look for this film, which has a speech about how this one man was asking, in the name of his father, and his father before him, why there is no consultation or consideration of the English in this mass of immigration. Fairly decent speech, but I cannot recall the name of the film and the only results one ever gets searching for British nationalist film is stuff about how great immigration is and now scary nationalism is.
This? There was also a five minute film going around with the title of “we were never even asked.” But I cannot find it.
Unfortunately not, it was a dramatic piece.
