Executive orders are exactly that. They are single directives made by the sitting president. The next sitting president has absolute authority over them. If they were congressional laws or judicial rulings it is different.
It has to be that way because there is far less oversight or checks and balances on executive orders. Otherwise I could become president and make an executive order that says all white people have to take an infertility shot and bow to their brown overlords, and the next president couldn't reverse it.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but with their Obamacare ruling, the Supreme Court essentially stated that an incoming President could NOT cancel an Executive Order from a previous President with an additional Executive Order. Trump, through EO tried to cancel Obamacare. So, the only way to cancel an EO is to have it overturned in Congress. Meaning that, with time, the Biden Executive Orders that contradict Trump's EOs will be found to be unconstitutional as well.

Obamacare was not an EO. It was a law that was promoted by Obama despite not being his place to write legislation. It passed through a democrat held house and senate before he signed it. Whole thing was a Democrat clusterfuck from start to finish.

EOs are made as temporary measures until the Senate makes the laws. Trump's EOs could not become permanent laws because were were too many RINOs in the Senate. They are still there, but at least they are identified now. Now the voters have to primary them out, and if that is done that there will be a new chance after the midterms.
