Source for that? Im not finding anything. Doesnt sound right to me that you couldnt have a long gun in your rig unless it was in a rack.

I remember my dad telling me that it was the law also, like hiding your guns implies criminal activity or something.

A lot of folks though dont actually know gun laws. For instance a lot of people here in my state think if you have a CPL and are carrying a loaded pistol in your truck it has to be on your person. Not true at all. It can be anywhere in your rig, concealed or not. A lot of disinformation regarding gun laws is passed around and accepted as fact by people who wont even research it themselves. I actually have read the rcws. My dad has told me similar shot that is not true.
