Having a lot of synchronistic moments today. Watched the old In Search Of about this just last night. Their conclusion was that he was probably innocent, and Henry Tudor was the more likely culprit, disposing of them so when he invaded he did not have to deal with his weak claim to the throne against theirs.

Did they ever find the bodies? One of those things in history that make you wonder.

They found bodies- but I am not sure if they were ever positively found to be the princes.

Some say Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham murdered 12 yo King Edward V of England with his younger brother Richard of Shrewsbury, Duke of York, in the Tower of London April 9, 1483 at the behest of their uncle Richard Plantagenet the Duke of Gloucester, who was crowned King Richard III June 24, 1483. Buckingham then changed sides on behalf of his cousin Henry Tudor, Earl of Richmond who also wanted to be King, and was beheaded for his trouble November 2, the same year. .
