You may be wondering how we know native born black males age 13 - 55 from low income single mother households commit more crime than any other demographic. Naturally, if this group is overpoliced, there will more arrests, but that doesn't prove they commit more crime. We know this because we don't go by arrests or convictions, we go by 911 calls describing perpetrators. In fact, blacks are under policed in proportion to the number of 911 calls stating black males as the suspect because police often agree not to police black neighborhoods due to constant negative interactions.

Key point being left out: the source of the majority of those calls is that they are being made by black people
