Titanium dioxide can potentially cause cancer as well.

In the 1950s there were lots of above ground nuclear tests being done which put an enormous amount of radionuclides into the environment (air, land and water). These radionuclides are always left off the possible cause list for cancers. I'd sooner blame the radioactive materials that are now everywhere in the environment and inside our bodies than worry about some white pigment. Does this not concern you?

No, I said it can potentially cause cancer not that it does.
