"Medical Errors" account for over 70% of deaths in Long term care facilities (nursing homes). Some of it is just because the staff just ran a triple shift and are barely standing. Some of it is because they are dumb as fuck. Then again... Some of it is that they hate a "resident" and decide to have a "accident".
Working in Long term care is soul sucking and I appreciate the people that do and that care but damn. If you have any family that is in LTC and you care about them.. Check up often, check their med schedules, make sure if the doctor changed something that the nurses have that in their chart... (They will fuck it up at some point).
