If only you could have gotten in 6 months ago... "Free" healthcare always, without exception, devolves into a "Two-tiered" healthcare system. If you have money, you get the private clinics and the best doctors and immediate treatment. If you rely on the "free care", meant for the peasants, it means rationing. Of everything. You get the long waits, etc. Even it it isn't *designed* to speed up your death, that is the *effect* it has. Help put it into perspective for you. There are more MRI machines just in the city of Minneapolis alone, than there are in all of Canada. Need an MRI? Sure. Hey, it's free, right? Just come back in a year. We'll fix you right up. It's easier and quicker to get your dog treated for cancer in Canada than it is a human being.
