Is the mothers intention is correct yes, but force is not the way to influence a teenager. You only become a tyrant, and by your actions convince your child you are evil and controlling rather than correct and concerned or supportive. The child will only rebel harder. What you should do is begin openly mocking the left and being correct. In doing so she might argue with you during conversation, but at the same time you will be arming her with questions and ideas to resist what sjws try to sell her. Then when they start ostricising her instead, she will see it is them who are not actually informed or tolerant people. and the mother will be helping her daughter fight the brainwashing and respecting her daughter rather than reinforcing the image that the sjws will paint that the mother is just a transphobe biggot.
