It's an over the counter, no prescription item. I've read in other places using it with zinc and antibiotic is a therapeutic for the coof.

Pretty sure the Dr. Zelenko protocol uses it and he talked about it in a video posted here. Can't recall if I posted it or someone else did.

Dr. Zelenko recommends:  500mg/day of Quercetin 95%  30mg/day of Zinc (from 130mg Zinc Sulfate)  800-1,000mg/day of Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid)  5,000 IU / 125mcg of Vitamin D3 (as Cholecaclciferol)

Quercetin acts as an ionophore to drive zinc into cells to protect against and kill viruses. Quercetin can also calm the Cytokine Storm (response where your immune system attacks the lungs) that occurs with COVID.

Important: You must take it in a fat -- it's like sand and can't be absorbed by your body without mixing it with a fat. Also take it with Resveratrol to improve it's efficicacy.

Thanks for the tip. So take pills and a spoon of bacon fat for good measure.

Break open the capsules and mix into full fat yogurt or coconut oil. Bacon fat works too.

I prefer bacon fat for the health benefits.
