They've allegedly been finding families in cars, unable to escape. What sort of forest fire would be so hot, so quick, and so damaging that entire families would be trapped and incinerated in a car, not even trying to escape?

No sirens to warn them in the middle of the night while they were sleeping. NPCs aren't going to have the best plans under such circumstances.

Nothing about this adds up.

It adds up better when you consider that they were NPCs. It was still deliberate and evil, but the NPCs reacted about as much as I would have expected.

I wanna have some pig zog bot explain 'following orders' by turning residents back into the fires yet they were all able to magically evacuate themselves (from a cleared exit way out of the town) but never told residents the same way. hope they dont all die painfully like those poor people.
