Yeah, it is complete bullshit. You already carry a key, why can't that be the remote start? Well, now you know. Because they always wanted to make it into a "subscription feature".

The answer is NO. Fuck yourself. Ill spend 2k on a standalone system even if I have to install it myself so I am not paying you monthly for shit that the car should be able to do without your stupid fucking app and your stupid fucking cloud service that could go down or be shut down (the button on a key would never need that connectivity in the first place).

Yea, the key fob has 3 buttons on it. One of them could easily be double tap to start. I'll check that out, thanks.
