Remember when 4chan would hack into and takedown the websites of people they didn't like? Remember when they would dox people they hated and use that information to ruin their lives? Remember when they would go out of their way to "milk the lolcows" of "lulz" by triggering their neurosis until they self-destructed? Remember when they would go out of their way to take on seemingly invincible enemies by repeatedly taking down the lowest and most accessible rung on the totem pole until the whole operation/organization collapsed?
Every notice how the world is run by these lolcows, and that it would be easy for people with that old /b/ spirit to find ways to ruin these tyrants? They would need to probe for vulnerabilities that could be exploited, both in the systems around us and in the people who keep them going, start picking at the things you could from the outside, the least important, but least guarded, and more numerous outermost layer, until it is compromised to the point it might as well be stripped away, leaving slightly more tantalizing fruits within. They would have a process of isolating people or isolating systems (technological and otherwise), make targets of specific people and things that should be ruinated, and find the best way to compromise them to the point beyond recovery. Each person who is ruinated, each system that has to be abandoned, each one would be one cut of a thousand that takes down the establishment. They would return to being nuisances again, being just plain mean to people they hate because they think it's funny, playing reality like it's a video game, and they are the greifers, the ones who only have fun when others aren't, the revived spirit of the internet hate machine.
