I am borderline GenX/Millenial. I work 80+ hours every week (and have been doing so for 20+ years). I don't complain about the Milleniels bitching because they have a valid point.
The only thing I really hate is that they are blaming capitalism for the problem when that's not the case. Capitalism works, we just don't have a capitalist society anymore. Rather we have capitalism for the poor and Socialism/Communism for the wealthy. On top of that as a society we seem to only value material things and our fiat currency is fueled by debt. Debt is the currency of slaves and the younger generations will never know a time when they are not in debt.
A lot of the ones complaining live with their parents. Not because they just divorced or left their girlfriend, not because of a disability or injury that excludes them from the workforce, BUT BECAUSE THEY’RE SPOILED, WHINY, FUCKING FAGGOTS who want to play Call of Duty 10 Hours a day and smoke weed in between tattoo sessions and thot hunting. Fuck them.
It's a waste not to live with your family, even if you're charged full price for rent at least you know and are related to the other people in your house.
Yes, some people are lazy and will make excuses, IF THEY CAN. Those parents they live with are enabling their laziness but that doesn't change the fact that buying a home in this era is signing up for a 30 year debt for most people.
30 years of debt would even be doable in an economy with some level of employment security. The only way to achieve employment security I have found is to run my own business, but that too isn't something everyone is capable of.
Eh, I don't think we have capitalism for the poor either. Communism doesn't work in a bubble, someone needs to pay for it, and that's the ever-shrinking middle-class.
