I actually have the reverse problem. My hair was always dark (really dark) brown, but lately it has been turning in to a copper red. So strange. Apparently, I've been a day-walker this whole time, and never even knew it. Doubt it's related to graying, as I've only two white hairs, thus far, and neither have any hint of red.

Hair color is funny. All of my kids have been born with brown hair but then they lose it and it turns blonde.
Mine actully has stayed blonde, I'm just curious bc a lot of people's does turn brown as they get older.

It could be some of those extra genes turning off.
