No probably not. They had larger brains than us and were significantly stronger. It might just be that they lived in smaller groups, and couldn't throw like we can due to their shoulders.

Human biodiversity (hbd) is the diversity found among and between human populations that has a biological basis.

There’s more to human biodiversity than just IQ.

Admittedly, I can get a bit narrowly focused on race and IQ, like lots of people into HBD. There's lots of data and it's so taboo. However, it is important to remember other types of human groups (sexes, sexual orientations, etc.) and other traits (physical traits, personality traits, etc).
