Maybe there is a gap. Whites and jews did that too.

American blacks have a higher average IQ than native Africans. Being killed for literacy could have been a selection pressure, but it was probably rather weak.

Human biodiversity (hbd) is the diversity found among and between human populations that has a biological basis.

Admittedly, I can get a bit narrowly focused on race and IQ, like lots of people into HBD. There's lots of data and it's so taboo. However, it is important to remember other types of human groups (sexes, sexual orientations, etc.) and other traits (physical traits, personality traits, etc).
