Actually, I have many. When I said "wishful thinking on a heterosexual man's part," I was referring to whomever came up with the theory.

Everyone has some exceptions, but I don't believe that justifies calling sexuality a spectrum. Some people are just too charming, attractive or affable to not be exceptions for someone. They pop up, but don't invalidate general patterns.
