It was "an uncomfortable job" for the police and guardsmen, but they did it anyway.
Democrats? It was rank-and-file police.
Police aren't your friend. If you doubt it, ask if they consider themselves civilians. You're second-class to them.
Now granted, I feel a lot of complaints about police could be solved if they actually weren't civilians, and were subject to UCMJ. A man can dream.
You'll have two choices in a situation like this:
Hand over and old piece of shit, beat to hell firearm that may or may not work. Hell, give them a slam gun. (Look it up if you don't know what a slam/pipe gun is.)
Or, you can risk it all. Your life, your wife and children's lives, too. You can [TOS violation] them. Reminder, this is a risk it all move, but it will send a very clear message that they are not going to do this without massive repercussions. Also, this could easily lead to a standoff. Citizens don't fair well with a militarized government standoff.
Tough as hell choices to make and a very bad situation to find yourself in. Think before you act.
Good point. This country is full of easily obtainable guns.
Hand over and old piece of shit, beat to hell firearm that may or may not work. Hell, give them a slam gun. (Look it up if you don't know what a slam/pipe gun is
There was no "just give them an old gun and they go away." They removed the people from their homes and took all the guns in the house. They also did the same in all the houses that were already evacuated.
You either stand for something or you don't.
As a non American, what would happen if you just dont open the door?
Have you read the book series, “going home” by A. American?
Sounds an awful lot like what he predicts a hostile government takeover would look like
Very good series. Compares to Rawles.
I remember a news story about how a team basically tackled an old lady then stole some small .22 pistol or something like it from her.
There is No 'emergency' ( The WHO) that supersedes the Bill of Rights and the armed home owners were Not part of the gangs/looters that were the problem. This massive civil rights violation should have then and Still should have had a Massive class action to follow to Jail the Gov employees involved.
