Lol who has a discover card? Anyone?

It's just another reason to use cash. I would never use a trackable method to buy firearms or ammunition... heck, anything. People love to say Bitcoin isn't trackable. It is, if you're the government. Your wallet hash code can be recorded at the exchange where you buy your bitcoin. That can be tracked further down the chain. Just because you and I can't trace it doesn't mean the government can't.

Did you know cash can also be tracked? Yep. Banks record all the bill serial numbers and who they go to. So if you go to your bank and get cash, later buy a firearm, the feds can link that purchase to you.

Any idea for how long they keep the data? I have always had cash on hand in the safe. Some of it has been there for years. Additionally, one of my tenants pays rent in cash each month. I wonder how hard tptb would search to find that link.

Honestly, I don't know even if they track the numbers. I just know it's possible. Certainly they are used when cash is stolen. It's more effort than CBDC will be. This is why they're pushing so hard for central bank digital currencies.

My guess is, if you've kept your notes for years, they may not have you associated with the numbers. You can always exchange yours with other private individuals so the feds can't find you directly. They'd have to do actual detective work. And government employees are not keen on working too hard.

LOL. I remember some car dealership was giving away free guns with a car purchase.

Hopefully gun ranges, gun shops, sporting goods stores, and other 2A supporters will just stop accepting Discover Card.

“We remain focused on continuing to protect and support lawful purchases on our network while protecting the privacy of cardholders,” Discover said in its statement to Reuters.

As of today.

I hope they can see how many guns I have. If they decide to go after them one day, I hope they tell the squad how many I have. I hope they think about it as they are on the way to kick my door down.
