If someone would have to take money from a medical or housing use to pay for this tax, that should be considered a violation of the right to bear arms. It may take a decade, but this should make it to SCOTUS.

I hope this wakes up the less well off minorities that need these weapons for defense of their home and person.

The democrats want to make the ability to defend yourself a class issue. Democrats are no friend to the poor.
