Yeah, they might have done an artist model with 'em gold or some other 'special' version

I still think it'd fool a whole lot of people into thinking it's real. Even the serial number looks legit. I should look that up one of these days. Gibson has kept good records lately, unlike throughout much of their history.

Why would you want to fool people unless you're going to sell it?

I don't want to fool people. I just think that it would.

If I spent $200 to get the right pickups and another $200 to get the right hardware, it'd fool even some of the people more familiar with Gibson and smart enough to take it apart to look at things before buying (or at least soon after buying while you can still return it).
