Better, really. It has a lift, power disk brakes, and power steering. It's not as plain inside and there's stuff like a center console that weren't in the original.

So, it's 'better' than the original.

Sweet. I noticed it had a frame off restoration

It's a well done restoration. The modifications are in good taste, though it'll likely never get beaten on too hard.

If you look on the passenger side, you'll see a giant bumper jack. There's also a Jerry can and an awning type of thing, so it'd be capable of some off-road fun. I doubt that the winch will ever get used for anything truly interesting.
