If this doesnt belong here, OK.
Nice song suplex
This thread is about home made music done by the submitter mostly, sometimes a grandkid or wife might be the musician, but its not for sharing professional music that you were not involved in, there's a music sub for that. Other than that, cool tune
Nice. That was my sister's favorite tune.
Oh wow.
Yup. She's gone now but I'm happily reminded of her every time I hear the song.
sweet!
Old as the hills now, like me lol.
This one might seem like one you've heard before - and you might have. As near as I can tell, you haven't heard it in a long time - and maybe only heard it just once. It has been 'hiding' at my upload site for a couple of years.
AC-DC - Back in Black (B #1 & #3; J B; B P & #2) (share.fngt.gq)
throws horns
Damn killer job. Wish I had talent on my whole hand one you fingers do lol
LOL Thanks. Glad ya liked it and, yeah, I have put in a whole lot of hours practicing. It takes years of consistent and diligent practicing.
When I pick up a guitar, I seldom 'noodle'. I usually play with a purpose and save my noodles for when I'm just jamming with someone. If I have a guitar in my hand, it's 'for a reason'.
I don't play just part of a song. I learn the whole song. I don't just learn the solos. I don't just learn the rhythm and then make up the solos. I learn the complete song.
This has worked for me. I dare say the proof is out there that it works.
Also, none of AC/DC is really all that terribly difficult - except getting the tone right. It can be kinda tough to get the 'AC/DC tone' thing going. Gain and a decent distortion pedal will get you part of the way there, but it's worth checking some 'rig rundowns' on YouTube or back in the old guitar magazines.
That is something I need spend more time trying to do is find proper setups so tone is more correct for me
Wow, very good! What does everybody do, just pick it out by ear?
Nah, I've got the tab for everything in that song, including the drum tab. Though I likely just sorta faked the drum. I'm not sure what i did at the time.
Glad ya liked it.
Fantastic.
Sounds great. The guitar solo's are really super excellent!
Do you have an old Gretch like Malcolm Young used to play for the rhythm?
I know you have to have an SG or three
I think that was done with just a Gibson SG on my end - but it was the correct SG that he used often, including the correct color (black, three pickups).
That one really sings beautifully
TIL Superdiamond has been around for 30 years. Damn. They are a Neil Diamond cover band. Ain't that something? A copy band of a old guy been around for that long.
Anyway, I revisited this song. I posted it before but this ain't that one. Scarborough Fair-guitar arrangment (soundcloud.com)
You just continue to impress with your guitar playing. Man, what an awesome rendition. I don't think I've ever heard you playing better. It's so sweet.
I have never heard of Superdiamond, but I can see why, Niel Diamond had a whole lot of hit songs. Opie is a huge fan!
Here is another one that my friend and I played the other night, King of the Road (soundcloud.com)
Awesome you don't here Roger on radio much these days killed cover
Thanks! That is a song that will get stuck in your head, that is hardly ever heard anymore
Yee that song will that and ernie ford 16 tonnes
Grew up with that guy, my folks liked him.
He was one of the greats, no doubt
Hello everybody. My buddy Chris came over again this week and we emptied out another case of beer while we played guitars and sang songs.
Here are are playing Tennessee Whiskey (soundcloud.com)
I do believe I have heard that before.
We just played that the other day? Were you here?
Playing Anne Frank - hiding in your attic!
No, I've heard the real version before. I'm pretty sure...
Here is one last song that we did as we got more and more drunk, Jolene (soundcloud.com)
