LOL Torches will do that. Bring a crowd, that is...

It'll also bring a whole lot of uneducated opinions, I would expect. I should probably have checked to make sure they were using the torch properly - that is getting maximum heat from it.

how to you mean, by the feather after the tip?

By adjusting the oxy mix to get the proper flame with the given amount of oxy at the time. You ideally want a good point on it and it often doesn't need to be long or anything like that - just a good concentrated point.

I went outside with the dog 'cause he was annoying me. His hearing is better than mine. Someone's setting off fireworks.

It might seem like a weird time to do so, but it really isn't. I've got a neighbor-ish that likes 'em. They're probably drunk and just watched the race.

When I lived on the beach I set off fireworks all the time for the hell of it.

They did get a good point on the flame and could fine tune it well
