Yup. There are 1045 of 'em, give or take and according to the 2020 census. Which is about right.

LOL I sometimes jokingly call it 'the big city'.

We have a bunch of towns with pretty low populations, like 50 people. Rangeley needs to support the tourist traffic, so that'd be why there are that many people.

That's a lot compared to the fifty person towns. But its still not really that many
