It is fun - but it's not as fun as buying something you know you'll treasure for the rest of your life.

Which is how I see my collection, I suppose. I have a beautiful collection and am pretty damned privileged to be the steward of that collection.

Knowing that I'll have the chance to drive all these things, and drive them any time it suits me, really makes me happy. I absolutely love the variety. I love the less expensive stuff as much as I love the expensive stuff. I don't even consider dollar value all that much when I drive something.
