Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

I did assume that you spelled it correctly. That is why I had questions!

It's a hell of a track.

If you get the chance to race on a virtual copy of the track, take it. There's a brilliant straight where you can reach maximum speeds and it passes by in an instant when you're over 200 mph.

I doubt you'll realistically get the chance - but you can actually go there and drive on the track. It's open to the public - and you can drive on it when it is NOT open to the public, as a student driver.

You can rent exotics (or just a Hyundai TCR type of car) and do laps - or, more importantly, you can hire a teacher to ride with you and give you second by second advice. I spent 10 days there doing exactly that, only not always hiring a teacher.

It was one of my favorite vacations - and it really wasn't all that expensive. It was under 20k for the whole thing. That includes everything, from flying there to food and alcohol.

I have driven it a couple times on my sons VR with an M6 and with a GT40 as well as taking a Cobra around. The Cobra put me off the road so many times I could not complete a lap unless I really, really took it easy. My son likes to take the vehicles that you have on virtual drives around the ring.

Also, alas, I do not own a GT40.

Well... I do own a coin operated GT40.

I have three examples of the more modern Ford GT. One of them is up for sale and has been for a while now. It's not easy to sell a $275,000 car.

Are you still swilling beer? LOL It's too late to buy more!

LOL Does he?

I suspect he'd have fun experiencing my collection in person. Imagine if I let 'em do something like drive a Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
