I know when i throw in lead lines sometimes playing with chris I hit some sour notes when I did not mean to and I think that is cause I played a major scale when a minor was in order, as when I play the guitar my mind actually thinks in the terms whole step whole step half step, whole step whole step whole step half step, that is where my mind is, I transpose that to the fretboard as to which notes should be available but I hear some that sound sour to me when listening back, and I know I stay in those parameters, the best i can figure is minor keys have a different parameter. I know my thinking is not normal, but it is what it is, and since my songs are happy mostly it works for me

There are like a zillion minor scales.
