A tweet says he made it to the ER but wasn't breathing on his own.

They did CPR for quite a while. Like 9 minutes worth of CPR. CPR isn't all that effective, so who knows what that did to help.

I watched it happen. He jumped up and almost immediately went to ground - just like a boxer who has been knocked out. Your body wants to get back up, but you're unconscious.

If his father was in there long enough to retire, I think that also impacts it.

I'm sure it has changed since I was in. Plus, I was with the Department of the Navy (Marines are a part of the Navy.)

It was just the right angle and force. He was knocked the fuck out. He might be concussed, but that was someone taking a nap.
