I think he is dead. Never seen them take the teams to the locker room for an injured player before

A tweet says he made it to the ER but wasn't breathing on his own.

They did CPR for quite a while. Like 9 minutes worth of CPR. CPR isn't all that effective, so who knows what that did to help.

I watched it happen. He jumped up and almost immediately went to ground - just like a boxer who has been knocked out. Your body wants to get back up, but you're unconscious.

Just the somber mood of the announcers make me believe he is dead

They'd be that somber otherwise, I think.

I doubt they know more than Twitter at this point.

I agree with you, however. That much CPR will kill you. They recommend not doing CPR in a lot of instances now.

Dude's pretty much dead or brain damaged.
