Awesome! That sounds like a great day.
Last night an old friend stopped by out of the blue, who I had not seen in a year, and said I should come with him to his house. He has something to show me in his garage. So what the hell, we went to his house and in his garage he has a couple of new vehicles. A 1985 Bentley Mulsanne, with no rust and a blown engine. And a 2016 Mercedes SUV, I don't know which model but it is real nice. Then he showed me a zip of marching powder, a qp of shrooms and a lb of bud. And he says lets party!
That sounds like fun.
I have the house to myself - and the dog. They probably won't be back until tomorrow. They're headed down to the outlet stores in Freeport, where things like LL Bean exist. There's a bunch of outlet stores down there, so it's a very popular tourist spot.
It's quite a drive, so they'll probably get some hotel rooms and be back tomorrow.
Everyone went. LOL One of my mechanics has a wife (the other a long term girlfriend who has yet to finished college) and they even dragged her along. My son and his friend, plus their significant others, all went.
My daughter's husband tried to stay here with me, but they wouldn't let him.
This is kinda a tradition? It's not quite a tradition and I've spent the last two winters down south - but they've still gone shopping without me, just up here and down there.
I've got the thermostat turned down to 66° and nobody is complaining!
That's a nice break!
I'm gonna enjoy it, though I didn't go for a drive this morning. I'm okay with that.
My cell connection is back up and running. I got mains power back sometime this morning. It was on when I got up at 05:45.
Which model was the SUV?
